Seagate F3 Self-Healing :

Postby Spildit » Sun Nov 17, 2013 5:33 pm

Seagate F3 drives have some batch scripts that execute some functions and tests embedded on them, and those scripts can be RUN from level 6 with the B command.

This can be helpful to "Heal" the drive or to fix some problems, so it's always worth an attempt, as a way to solve some of F3 drives internal firmware issues.

This is the same as running the Class-B Self-Healing on STCom Tools.

Just make sure that the scripts are concluded correctly prior to start the next one.
